Best Way to Download Youtube Video from Blocked Countries

Continuing from my previous post, here I will share with you how to download Youtube video, especially if your country block your internet connections (China, Indonesia, Pakistan, etc.).

This tips were tested and succeeded, at least for my country (Indonesia), I don’t know if you lived in China or Pakistan, but it should work also. However this still worth to try. OK, here we go the steps:

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox, please do not use other browser, if you don’t have Firefox, you can download the latest version from the links on my right sidebar.

  2. Install PHProxy Addons
  3. Browse Youtube using Anonymouse.Org

  4. Search your video, after you get the video copy the video URL. Your video URL will look like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blablabla

  5. Go to the sites which provide on-the-fly tool to download Youtube video. For example KeepVid or VideoGrabbers
  6. Paste your URL already copied before

  7. After you get the links, do Right Click to the download links and choose Open by PHProxy in new tab

  8. There you go, you can download Youtube video again
