From the website address above, I think you already know what’s behind the story this article. It’s all about Google Docs. A bright innovation from Google Inc., they provide an online documents editors. Same like my previous post about Adobe Photoshop Express Live, but this is an office suite.

With this application, you don’t need offline office suite anymore, whether it’s OpenOffice or Microsoft Office. What you need is internet connection and internet browsers (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari, etc.). Create new account in Google Docs or you can use your existing Google account, and get ready to use free Google Docs.

I thought, in the future, this on-the-fly type applications will dominate the software development. The parties will get most benefit is us, more choice, more cheaper. No need to pirate again. Let’s hope internet connection price in Indonesia will get cheaper soon.

Note:
To use this Google Docs Suite or any other on-the-fly applications, you must have high speed internet connections, in my experience, DSL connection is not enough.
